17 mechanics in rotation
Subjects and mechanics are separate: a Geography round is not always flags, and a History round is not always dates. Each daily challenge uses five different subjects and five different mechanics.
How scoring works
- Each round is worth exactly 1,000 points, and a full challenge is 5,000.
- About 80% of every item is knowing the answer; the remaining 20% rewards answering promptly, and the speed component is capped so small differences in connection speed cannot decide a leaderboard.
- The clock starts when you press Begin Round, never while a map or flag is still loading.
- Games with partial credit — Timeline, Matchmaker, Estimate It, Pin the Map — award a share of the points rather than all or nothing.
- Every score is calculated on the server from what you did. The browser never reports a score.
Classic Four
4 itemsFour options. One right answer.
Read the question and pick the answer you believe is correct. Faster answers are worth slightly more.
True or False Blitz
6 itemsSix statements. Call each one.
Decide whether each statement is true or false. They come quickly, so trust your instincts.
Odd One Out
4 itemsThree belong together. One doesn't.
Three of the four items share something. Tap the one that doesn't belong.
Connection
3 itemsWhat links these four?
Four items are shown together. Work out what they have in common.
Two Truths and a Lie
2 itemsTwo are true. One isn't.
Of the three statements, exactly one is false. Find it.
Category Sprint
8 itemsIn or out? Answer fast.
Items appear one at a time. Decide whether each belongs to the category.
Three Clues
2 itemsAnswer early, score higher.
Clues are revealed one at a time. Answer after the first clue for full marks, or take another clue at a cost: 80% after the second, 60% after the third.
Who Am I?
2 itemsNo options. Type the answer.
Clues are revealed one at a time and you type your answer — no multiple choice. Answering after fewer clues is worth more.
Progressive Reveal
3 itemsThe less you see, the more it's worth.
The outline is revealed a piece at a time. Answer as early as you dare — later reveals score less.
Flag Frenzy
5 itemsFive flags. Name the countries.
A flag appears. Pick the country it belongs to.
Shape of the World
4 itemsJust the outline. No labels, no colours.
Only a country's silhouette is shown — no borders, names or flag colours. Name it.
Pin the Map
3 itemsCloser is better.
Tap the world map where you think the place is. Within 100 km scores full marks, and credit tails off from there.
Timeline
1 taskPut history in order.
Drag the events into chronological order, earliest first. Partial credit is given for every pair you place the right way round.
Before or After
5 itemsOne reference point. Five calls.
Every event is compared with the same reference event. Did it happen before it, or after?
Higher or Lower
4 itemsTwo things. One is bigger.
Two things are compared on the same measure. Pick the larger one.
Estimate It
3 itemsGet as close as you can.
Type a number. You do not need to be exact — the closer your estimate, the more points you keep.
Matchmaker
1 taskLine up both columns.
Match every item on the left to its partner on the right. Each correct pair earns its share of the round.
